This is what we do...
Simply put, we become involved in the process of manufacturing your record after a lacquer master of your original recording has been
made. We produce a stamp or “mother” plate which will then be used to press copies onto vinyl, resulting in your very own vinyl record.
Plating is an electro-chemical process which deposits nickel onto a thin layer of liquid silver solution that has been applied to the lacquer
master. The resulting "mother" will be used to create any number of stampers, each of which can press approximately 1000 vinyl records
before degrading and needing to be replaced.
Our decades of craftsmanship and customer care has earned us a reputation of excellence among our colleagues and peers in this industry.
We are proud to be one part of the complex process that transforms artists' ideas into vinyl. Just imagine.. someday, the humble mother
we plate for you today may go on to become the actual heart of your Gold Record. We produce those too!
